My next book is . . .

Do you ever just lose yourself in the idea of bringing something to fruition? Maybe redecorating your bathroom? A bikini body just in time for summer? A man who will drive you wild in bed AND do the dishes?
Well, for the past year, I've been daydreaming about my next book idea. Last January, the first lines of the book just popped in my head. I wrote them down immediately, even though I was in bed with the lights out. I wanted to drop everything and write it but something told me to wait. So I've been sitting with it, filling my Evernote with character names, snappy dialogue, and super sexy rooftop scenes...
And now, it's finally time to actually write it!
Here's the thing. This book feels really special. Very close to my heart. And I want it to be the BEST thing you've read from me so far. Your support means so much to me. Over the next few months, I'll be sharing behind the scenes of this story with excerpts, character sketches, and songs that I play on a loop while I'm typing out a scene.
So without further delay, my next book is a smart, sexy, funny, second chance romance called . . . I Hate You, Jesse Lucca.
Here are the first lines (Warning, there are a few F*bombs)
Fuck Jesse Lucca. As in I hate Jesse Lucca. Not as in I want to fuck Jesse Lucca, which I did. And that’s where I went wrong . . .
I Hate You, Jesse Lucca is about TV writer, Erica Hart and her ex-boyfriend, you guessed it, Jesse Lucca. After two years, Erica returns to San Francisco for a wedding and reluctantly reunites with the man who broke her heart.
It begs the question . . . How long does it take to get over someone you love?
This story has a Carrie and Big feel with the chemistry of Jake and Natalie from My Two Husbands.
**First behind the book insight--When I was originally going to write My Two Husbands a decade ago, Jesse Lucca was Jake's name. But it was better suited for this book, so I stole it!
